For the Grace of God

Father, thank You for making me alive in Christ! I declare that Jesus is my Lord and Saviour, and because He died for me, I can live the abundant life here on earth. Help me stay focused on You this day & live with the enthusiasm that comes from knowing You in Jesus’ name, Amen.

My Chagrin rose at his absurdity


I was mortified by his apparent lack of 'jois de vivre'

It was ineffable how he could behave and I would have none of it
chagrin \shuh-GRIN\, noun:

1. Acute vexation, annoyance, or embarrassment, arising from disappointment or failure.
2. To unsettle or vex by disappointment or humiliation; to mortify.
